Day’s Jewelers Gets New VP, Store Operations

Share

Liz Mahoney (pictured) has been hired as vice president of store operations at Day’s Jewelers, the eight-store chain based in Waterville, Maine.

She replaces Joseph Corey, who became the chain’s president in April and is the third generation of Coreys to be employed at Day’s. Her role involves overseeing all Day’s Jewelers’ brick-and-mortar stores across Maine and New Hampshire.

Mahoney has over two decades’ experience in the jewelry industry. According to LinkedIn, she most recently served as general manager of James Free Jewelers, a two-store chain based in Ohio. Prior to that, she spent 20 years at Ultra Diamonds, eventually becoming district manager.

Working in the jewelry industry “gets in your blood,” Mahoney said in a statement. “If I can share what I’ve learned and pass it on, and it will help, that’s a big thing for me.”
