Davide Traxler has been named the chief operating officer of Montres Corum, the Swiss watch brand commonly known as Corum.
Traxler was previously with Chopard, where he held several key roles, including managing director of Chopard Italy, managing director of Chopard USA, and, most recently, director of licenses.
“[Traxler’s] extensive experiences and glorious achievements in Swiss haute horlogerie will allow him to develop the brand worldwide,” said Tao Li, executive chairman of Corum parent company Citychamp Watch & Jewellery Group Ltd.’s European development board.
Citychamp Watch & Jewellery Group Ltd., previously China Haidian Holdings Ltd., purchased Corum in 2013. The company also owns Chinese watch brands Rossini and Ebohr and Swiss watch brands Eterna and Rotary.
