Longtime silver jeweler David Tishbi is getting into retail. But not just any store will do: Tishbi is opening Flash Gallery in Pacific Palisades, Calif., which drives home a flash-sale-like urgency to buy immediately before the deal is gone. To do so, Tishbi is curating new collections of jewelry (including some of his own work) about every eight weeks, giving consumers a limited time to make purchases. Designers who’ve already agreed to participate in the store include Rebecca Overmann and David Heston, among others.
