David E. Connolly Inc. Better Basics recently purchased Engel Brothers. The two businesses’ products will now be manufactured cooperatively in Connolly’s Marbledale, Conn., office, complementing one another’s strengths and adding a variety of depth, the companies said in a statement.

Engel Brothers comes to David E. Connolly having been in operation for over 74 years.
