Sotheby’s has named Daryl Wickstrom international managing director of its worldwide jewelry and watch divisions.

Wickstrom has been with Sotheby’s since 1996, when he was appointed executive vice president and deputy chairman, Asia. He went on to be the managing director of the global auction division. 

“I am pleased to announce the appointment of Daryl Wickstrom as International Managing Director of Sotheby’s Worldwide Jewelry and Watch Divisions,” said Bruno Vinciguerra, Sotheby’s chief operating officer, in a statement. “In this newly-created role, Mr. Wickstrom will work closely with our international specialist teams in formulating and executing Sotheby’s strategy to expand our activity and grow our sales in these critical areas, which have seen record results in recent years.”
