Fine jewelry design house D’Annunzio teamed up with Jewelers for Children, the jewelry industry’s charity, as it celebrated its 10th Anniversary at the annual JFC Facets of Hope fundraiser dinner during JCK Las Vegas.
A raffle, for which D’Annunzio contributed the grand prize—a customized Tweety Fine Jewelry VW Bug—raised $60,000 for JFC charity partners. Held in the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, the charity brought together a group of 1,700 people from the fine jewelry and watch industries.
The customized Tweety Fine Jewelry VW Bug, came with glittering headlights, embroidered seats, feather tail, and interior details.
“I was so proud that D’Annunzio was able to contribute to Jewelers for Children,” said Arthur D’Annunzio, president and designer of the company. “To know that D’Annunzio is directly contributing to these young lives makes me extremely happy!”
JFC has invested more than $30million in various children’s charities. Their charity partners include Make a Wish, the Elizabeth Glaiser Pediatric Aids Foundation, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and CASA. The Facets of Hope dinner is a rare opportunity to hear first-hand testimonials from the children and families that have benefited from the jewelry industry’s generosity.
