‘Dancing With the Stars’ Takes Las Vegas

It’s feathers and fringe, sequins and spangles—in other words, everything a Las Vegas variety show should be. The only question is: What took Dancing With the Stars so long to get here?

Eight times a week at the Tropicana, you’ll find celeb alums of the ABC reality show—ex–Cheetah Girl Sabrina Bryan, actress Tia Carrere, ’N Syncer Joey Fatone, Disney Channel cutie Kyle Massey, and style icon Carson Kressley—partnering with pros such as Dmitry Chaplin (season 9 runner-up with R&B star Mya), Lacey Schwimmer, who led Massey to a second-place finish in season 11, and tongue-wagging Irish hottie Tristan MacManus. Also burning up the floor: the DWTS Las Vegas troupe.

“You will see all the ballroom and Latin dances,” says Schwimmer. “Some freestyles, magic, and aerial acts.” (Take that, Cirque du Soleil!) And DWTS die-hards will be thrilled to know that Schwimmer and Massey will be doing their “Good Golly Miss Molly” instant jive.

Kressley is the show’s super-stylish host, and there might even be a special guest or two. Last week, two-time mirror ball champ Kym Johnson made an appearance. Says Schwimmer, “I can’t give away any secrets—other than more pros and celebs will be getting involved.” We think a stint in DWTS: Live in Las Vegas would be the perfect way for season 14 winner Donald Driver to celebrate.
