Dalumi Factory in Botswana

Diamond and jewelry company Dalumi, one of the first companies to open a diamond polishing factory in Botswana, has moved into production in its branch at the beginning of 2007.

“Today Botswana is the world’s leading producer of quality gem diamonds” comments Rafi Yerushalmi, Dalumi managing director, “and since its independence in 1966 it is working to develop its diamond industry. Therefore, we are more than pleased to have been selected to manufacture diamonds in this country.”

The factory is located in Gaborone, Botswana’s capital, It began operations in Beginning activity in February and employs 100 workers. The workforce is expected to double by the end of the year.
