Jewelry classics that are always in favor
After five years of writing about jewelry trends, my love of following the trends—at least observing, if not partaking—has only grown. But as of late, I’m slowing down a bit—at least as it pertains to my personal collection. Give me classic diamond pendants, stud earrings, and a simple chain bracelet, and I’m feeling pretty good. Is it my entering a new era of life (my third decade, what?!) that has me searching for the less-is-more look, or is the classic, more streamlined aesthetic a trend in and of itself? I think the answer is that it’s a little bit of both, but only time will tell. A month from now, I could be springing for the latest craze in neckwear—who knows. Jewelry, like life, is often unpredictable! The only thing I know for sure? There will always be demand for pieces like these.
