Crushing on the Emerald Cut

Last summer, I wrote a post that questioned the obvious popularity of emerald-cut engagement rings with celebrities. So many of them seem to have one! I stated that, though not knocking the emerald cut, I just wasn’t personally drawn to them in engagement rings. And though that hasn’t changed much for me (not that there hasn’t been a handful of really compelling choices), I am immensely enjoying the way they look in other forms of jewelry—particularly in colored gemstone form, or in eternity band form, with a contrasting metal (I swoon for that Rahaminov ring!).
