It is one of a number of home-sales jewelry companies to run into rough times
On July 7, Cookie Lee, a 20-year-old home-sales jewelry company, filed for Chapter 7 in Northern California federal court.
The costume jewelry company was founded in 1992 and was sold in April 2014 to Debra Miller, who rebranded the company ViVi, for vision, inspiration, value, and independence.
Cookie Lee is one of a number of well-established home-sales jewelry companies to run into rough times lately. In 2014, Lia Sophia ceased operations, and in May, Silpada Designs closed.
