David Goldsmith, long-time store manager of Manfredi Jewels in Greenwich,
Conn., died Jan. 7 in Greenwich after losing his four-year battle with cancer.
He was 41.
Roberto Chiappelloni, owner of Manfredi Jewels, credited Goldsmith as a reason
the store is so successful. In addition to his vast knowledge for the industry
he loved, Goldsmith was an exceptional leader—kind, eloquent, and highly
intelligent, Chiappelloni said.
A memorial service was held on Jan. 10 in Mt. Vernon, N.Y.
His wife, Judy Sugar; mother, Carol Goldsmith; and his younger sister, Lainey
Larrivee, survive him.
