Despite the rising popularity of colored gemstones in engagement rings, The Knot’s most recent Market Intelligence Report revealed that 93 percent of the brides polled opted for engagement rings featuring colorless diamonds.
Fifty-eight percent chose rings with a diamond center stone, accented by side stones; 26 percent went with diamond solitaires; while 9 percent picked up rings with a three-diamond look.
Only 5 percent of respondents bucked tradition by choosing non-diamond center stones.
