The Pantone Spring 2014 Fashion Color Report provides an overview of fashion designers’ color choices in their new collections. The colors are important for jewelers to know so they can help customers color-block accessories. Here are five ways to color-block with Pantone’s Radiant Orchid.
Pantone 18-3224 Radiant Orchid
This fuchsia-like color is the ultimate happy hue; it looks great with black and blends beautifully with other purples.
1. Pair Radiant Orchid–colored garments with green for a complementary color effect.

2. Go for a tone-on-tone look (a variant of an analogous color mix) with a lighter shade—like lavender or pink—of Radiant Orchid.

4. Add lightness to Radiant Orchid ensembles with a white or silver jewel.
