The Pantone Spring 2014 Fashion Color Report serves as an overview of designers’ color choices in new clothing collections. The colors are important for jewelers to know so they can help customers successfully color-block accessories. Here are five ways to color-block with Pantone’s Paloma.
PANTONE 16-0000 Paloma
This silvery tone helps address the need for “equilibrium,” according to Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute. Eiseman recently told WWD “the world still needs the stability of soft neutrals.” Not surprisingly, four fashion designers who collaborated on the most recent Color Report used Paloma in their spring 2014 collections.
1. Use Paloma, a “cool, sensual, and sexy” color, according to Max Azria of Hervé Léger, to “enhance and illuminate bright shades of blues.”

2. Pair Paloma with “pops of bold color, including Ultramarine, Clementine, and Azalea,” suggests Trina Turk of the eponymous firm.
