Summer weather always calls for a dose of color, and this year has been no exception. From soft pinks and mint green to 2014’s Radiant Orchid, we’re currently living in a rainbow of delectable hues. And then there’s blue—always in demand and never out of style, though its particular tones vary in popularity.
This summer, I’m definitely in the mood for electric shades of blue. Hues that attract like a pool of water on a hot day—refreshing and serene, but so loud you can’t take your eyes off of them. No navy or pale cornflower looks here; these are bold, beautiful, and bright.

It’s not only Paraiba—which comes to mind as the most stunning fluorescent blue—but bright varieties of turquoise, agate, opal, and topaz also fit the bill exceedingly well.
It’s the perfect August showcase: When summer is at its hottest and customers tire of the oppressive temperatures, serve up something cool with a display of blue jewels like these. The designs promise to cruise right into fall with ease—if you can believe that autumn is almost upon us.
