The Consolidated Jewelers Association of Greater New York will celebrate 48 years of service to the jewelry industry with a dinner dance at The Waters Edge in Long Island City on Oct. 24. The event will include a cocktail cruise followed by dinner and dancing at the restaurant.
The event will serve the following purposes:
First, it will serve to honor the Diamond Promotional Service’s past, present, and future advertising campaigns.
Second, it will serve as a fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Metro New York. This year, CJA will donate $100,000 in memory of its past president, Dennis Schonborn.
The Water’s Edge yacht, the Marika, will sail to the Statue of Liberty followed by dinner at the Water Edge’s highly rated restaurant. The Prime Time Live Orchestra will provide the music.
