CIBJO Publishes Precious Metals Commission Report

International proposals governing the use of metals in
jewelry are the focus of a report released by the Precious Metals Commission of
CIBJO, the World Jewelry Confederation.

The report addresses the use of “heavy metals”—including
nickel, cadmium, and lead—in jewelry, as well as the new disclosure
regulations on “conflict minerals” included in the Dodd-Frank Act.

The full report can be downloaded here.
