Gaetano Cavalieri, president of CIBJO, received the Award of the Order of Carl Faberge during the opening ceremony of the International Jewellery Forum in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Created to distinguish outstanding artists and entrepreneurs, the award was presented to Cavalieri for his contribution to the preservation of jewelry art.
“It is a privilege to be included in the company of previous award laureates, and to be to the recipient of an award that carries the name of one the greatest and most influential jewelers ever to have lived,” said Cavalieri in a statement.
