The board of directors of CIBJO has approved the establishment of a Trade Fair Commission, responsible for liaising with trade shows serving the international jewelry industry.
Corrado Facco, executive director of Fiera di Vicenza, was appointed by the CIBJO Congress to chair the new organization.
“This is a vitally important body, for trade shows represent a critical platform for members of our industry to meet and interact with clients and suppliers,” Gaetano Cavalieri, CIBJO president, said in a statement. “They have a profound influence on how we perform, and how we manage our activities. The Trade Show Commission will establish that dialogue for the benefit of the industry and the shows, and Corrado is perfectly equipped to handle the role of chairman.”
