Christophe Claret, the independent watchmaker known for manufacturing highly complicated movements, has named Wolfgang Sickenberg its new director of operations.
Stefan Feltgen, the current director of operations, will depart at the end November after three years in the position.
“Mr. Feltgen has been instrumental in successfully developing the Christophe Claret brand over the last three years,” Claret said in a statement. “During this time, he displayed professionalism and commitment while working on the conceptualization of the brand, the development of our marketing, and product strategy, as well as helping to establish the brand in key markets around the globe.”
Sickenberg brings 20 years of experience in the watch industry to the position, including stints at Blancpain and Audemars Piguet, where he held sales and marketing positions in Switzerland and in Asia.
