Christie’s to Auction Elizabeth Taylor’s Jewelry

Christie’s will be auctioning jewelry that belonged to
screen legend Elizabeth Taylor, the auction house confirmed April 9.

The “series of sales will be announced later this season,”
it added in a statement. “Further details will be available at that time.”

Taylor died
March 23
. Along with her jewelry, Christie will be auctioning her art,
fashion, and memorabilia.

“[We] have worked with Elizabeth Taylor and her family over
the past two decades and are most honored to have been entrusted with the
collection of this world renowned film legend, humanitarian and tastemaker,”
the auction house said.
