Christie’s London Auctioning Diamond Tiaras and Rare Pearls



On Nov. 22, Christie’s London will auction a collection of tiaras and natural pearls at its Important Jewels sale.  

The tiara selection dazzles with an array of pieces ranging from £7,000 ($11,165) to £250,000 ($399,000) dating back to the mid-Victorian era and up to the early 20th century. Headlining the auction is a diamond tiara from the mid-19th century (estimated at £180,000–£250,000), which can also be worn as a necklace.

A collection of rare and unique natural pearls are also on offer, including a six-row natural pearl necklace (estimate: £300,000–£400,000) and a single-row colored pearl necklace worth (estimate: £380,000–£550,000).

The Important Jewels sale will also feature pieces from the 17th century to today from designers including Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Bulgari, and more.
