Christie’s Jewelry Head Kadakia Promoted to President for Asia Pacific

Rahul Kadakia, who has headed Christie’s international jewelry department since 2014, has been promoted to president of the auction house’s Asia Pacific region.

In his new role, Kadakia will continue to oversee Christie’s jewelry sales and will assume leadership of its global luxury and Asian and world art groups. He will move to Hong Kong for the new position, which he begins in January 2026.

Born in Mumbai, Kadakia joined Christie’s jewelry department in 1996, in its London office. He was named head of jewelry for the Americas in 2004 and became international head of jewelry 10 years later.
