Rent the Runway, the company that rents designer dresses and accessories, including jewelry, has hired Chris Halkyard to be its chief logistics officer.

Halkyard has 25 years’ experience with supply chain management. He most recently was the chief supply chain officer and general manager of distribution services at Gilt. Previous employers include Marc Ecko, L’Occitane, FAO Schwarz, and May Department Stores (now Macy’s).

Rent the Runway operates online and has retail locations in New York City; Washington, D.C.; Las Vegas; and Chicago.
