Vice-President Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China visited World Diamond Centre Friday.
Jinping was welcomed by Prince Philip of Belgium, minister of economy and enterprise Vincent Van Quickenborne and the board of directors of Antwerp World Diamond Centre and HRD Antwerp.
Jinping visited the AWDC Diamond Office, the inspection office for Belgian diamond imports and exports and the HRD Antwerp Diamond Lab.
Jinping was presented with a two ct. diamond with a laser inscribed Chinese flag on the table.
