Check Out This Facebook App Created Specifically for Jewelry Retailers

GemFind’s new social tool adds streamlined, shopable pages to your Facebook

Selling directly on social media—also known as social selling—is on the rise. Pinterest now has direct-buy buttons to purchase products pinned by users and brands, and there are dozens of apps dedicated to crawling the web to locate fashion looks posted on Instagram.

Plenty of tech companies have created tools for selling on Facebook—and Facebook itself offers gallery-like product pages for retailers. But GemFind, the Newport Beach, Calif.–based marketing and tech company recently debuted a Facebook product geared specifically to jewelry sellers.

An example of how GemFind’s JewelCloud looks when integrated into Facebook

JewelCloud, a Facebook app for jewelry retailers, integrates with the social platform to build product pages that are beautifully designed, simple to shop, and full of functionality.

Retailers can load endless product images and descriptions to create a pretty product catalog within their Facebook feeds. But unlike other product showcases on Facebook (and there are many), JewelCloud also comes with social features, including the ability to comment, book an appointment with a store/jeweler, and print pages.

Retailers can name the product pages anything they want and organize product as they see fit—by stone or product type, or even occasion (wedding, big night out). The app links to PayPal, so users buy right from a retailer’s Facebook page.

“Facebook has become a very strong marketing tool for retailers,” says GemFind owner Alex Fetanat. “Our app makes it possible to have more products in a centralized location, and consumers never have to leave the page to buy what they want. It’s an easy way to sell on social.”
