“Chad Allison will cease its operation after Dec. 31, 2012,” said an Oct. 12 letter to company partners signed by general manager Kenneth Kanter. “This decision has been taken predominantly by our parent company deciding to no longer be involved in the ‘brand’ part of our business.”
The letter thanked clients for their support, but added that “under the current global business climate, we have been left with no option but to close down.”
Kanter stresses that the overall company is not closing down, and that the business will still service Chad Allison clients.
“It was just a decision by management to relieve itself of that business,” Kanter tells JCK. “Personally, I’m sad to see it go. But that’s the only thing that is closing down. The other divisions will continue.”Follow JCK on Instagram: @jckmagazine
