CEO of Nordstorm’s HauteLook Steps Down

Adam Bernhard, founder and CEO HauteLook, the flash site owned by Nordstrom, is stepping down as chief executive, the company said in a statement.

Bernhard will not be replaced, and will remain with the company in an advisory role. Terry Boyle will remain as president of HauteLook, reporting to Jamie Nordstrom, president of Nordstrom Direct.

The site, which was purchased by Nordstom in 2011, it has 14 million members.

“It has been an unbelievable journey to grow HauteLook from a four-person startup into the thriving division of Nordstrom that it is today,” Bernhard said in a statement. “Although I’m eager for the new opportunities to come, HauteLook will always be my pride and joy.”
