Centurion Jewelry: New Modern Looks in Bridal

Among the few new bridal jewelry selections evident at the Centurion Jewelry show (#centurion on Twitter), most styles mirrored those clean-lined modern looks shown in JCK’s January Romance issue. That’s because everyone–industry and consumers–is growing a little weary of the vintage- and micro-pave look. These are still wildly popular (JCK research even confirms this), but the next design movement will be unfettered contemporary styling. Here are a few looks from Centurion Jewelry that reinforce that thinking

Sofer Jewelry

An 18k gold band features 2 cts. t.w. G-H SI2 diamonds for $3,000.

Rahaminov Diamonds

The prolific Tamara Goldfiner of Rahaminov unveiled a few beautiful big stones set in brushed, matte finishes. Very cool, very modern and chic, and I will look for more designs at JCK Las Vegas. I was so entranced by the beauty of the rings that I forgot to ask for SRP. Sorry. [Here’s a clue, though: they’re big, so, they won’t be cheap.]

Noam Carver

Carver was an Emerging designer at the Centurion show this year. His jewelry has Arabesque styling, is big and bold in appearance (so you know he’s got some great men’s pieces), made in 18k gold and palladium, and starts at $3,000 retail. He also works with some fun stones like the included quartz shown, as well as Lodalite quartz (not shown).

Gumuchian

A platinum set features oval and round cuts with G-H VVS ideal stones. The SRP on the band is $9,600 for nearly 2 cts. t.w. diamonds. The look is simple, fresh, and fun with enough classic appeal to endure over time. Gumuchian also has simple platinum semi-mounts with .22 cts. t.w. diamonds starting at just $1,600 retail.

Ron Hami of Stardust Diamond had some terrific new bridal pieces, but he wasn’t there when I stopped by the booth, and, they didn’t have a press kit, so, no pics, sorry

FYI folks, have press kits so you can have press. Be sure to include high-resolution digital images of products on white backgrounds in a JPEG format, suggested retail prices, and brief descriptions of materials used. There’s no guarantee of use, but in general, I really do give exposure to a lot of different companies.
