Celebrate Jewelry Night Out With the Women’s Jewelry Association

If you belong to the Women’s Jewelry Association, you likely know about the upcoming Jewelry Night Out taking place on Sept. 18. It’s a nationwide affair involving every domestic chapter—13 to date—plus a few extra events taking place in Hong Kong and Nashville, Tenn., among others. The affairs are designed to invigorate the association with camaraderie and speakers and to draw in new members.

I belong to the Metropolitan or New York City–area chapter of WJA, and my JNO is happening at Clyde Frazier’s at 485 10th Ave. from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. (The venue just changed in the past week because we reached maximum capacity at our initial space.) My chapter’s event speaker will be the legendary Iris Apfel, courtesy of Swarovski, one of our sponsors. Other sponsors include Jewelers of America (Metro Patron level), Midas Chain (Metro Friend level), Kashkaval Garden in New York City (Metro Friend level), Kay Jewelers (National level), and Jared the Galleria of Jewelry (National level); goody-bag sponsors include BlingGuard, Efva Attling, Heritage Auctions, Lavish, Pantone, Rio Tinto, and Spa Castle.

At the chapter level, pulling this event together has been quite a production involving everyone, but we think it’s shaping up to be a great night! Tickets are $65 apiece, and membership sign-ups or renewals will cost just $99 for that evening only. Upwards of 150 folks have already signed up! We hope to see you there.
