Casa Reale Debuts New Collection in Style

On a warm summer night in June, Casa Reale celebrated its new line of fine jewelry with a buzzing, hip party at downtown Manhattan’s the Box.

Models, actors, and fashion and jewelry industry folks mingled over cocktails beneath displays of stuffed peacocks adorned in jewels, while a burlesque dancer took periodic turns performing acrobatics above patrons’ heads. Later, after a sit-down dinner, actress Rose McGowan debuted a short film she created for the event, and singer Mary J. Blige performed her hits to an enthusiastic crowd.

The exclusive and decadent celebration marked the beginning of a new phase for the brand. Casa Reale began 2013 as a small company making bespoke pieces for red carpet events and private clients, but with the launch, they debuted the Casa Reale collection of fine fashion and bridal jewelry.

Alla Yushuva is the brains and heart behind the brand, which she runs with her three brothers: Joseph, Paul, and Mark. Derek Anderson served as the creative director of the collection’s launch.

The new line features collections named after the great queens, including Catherine, Elizabeth, Victoria, and Letizia, in 18k gold and diamonds with sapphire, emerald, and pearl accents. The pieces are at once classic and fresh.

The party was attended by a who’s who of New York fashion and society, including actress Francesca Eastwood, who is the face of the brand, and her mother, Frances Fisher; Advanced Style star Beatrix Ost; model and Vênsette founder Lauren Remington Platt; actress Stella Schnabel; designer Arden Wohl; and designer Erin Fetherson. The party received glowing write-ups from Vogue, the Daily Mail, New York Magazine’s The Cut, and Fashionista, among others.

Exceptional food, drinks, and entertainment marked a special New York night. But as always, the stars of the show were the glittering pieces of wearble art on Yushuva’s and other brand ambassadors’ fingers, ears, and necks, and yes, adorning the peacocks above the bar. It is a collection worthy of a proper celebration, and it got one.
