A Cartier ring set with a 20.03 ct. fancy intense yellow diamond will headline Heritage Auctions’ spring Fine Jewelry sale on May 4 in Dallas. Mounted in platinum and gold, the piece carries an estimate of $600,000 to $800,000, with a reserve of $500,000.
Heritage said the ring is notable both for its size and saturation, combining a high‑carat fancy color diamond with a signed Cartier mounting. It will be offered alongside other high-carat diamonds and gemstones in what the company described as one of its most substantial jewelry sales to date.
Additional rings with fancy yellow diamonds appear in the auction, including one by Van Cleef & Arpels with 6.88 cts. and a ring centered on an 8.27 ct. stone. Heritage said the offerings reflect demand for yellow diamonds in larger sizes, particularly in signed designs.
The sale also includes a selection of pink diamonds, ranging from faint to light pink hues, along with a 10.85 ct. fancy dark yellowish‑brown diamond. Colorless diamonds are represented as well, with several platinum‑set stones exceeding 7 carats featured among the top lots, according to the auction house.
Beyond diamonds, Heritage said it will present several colored gemstones, including Kashmir sapphires, Burmese rubies, and Colombian emeralds, as well as jewels from designers such as Van Cleef & Arpels and Oscar Heyman. The auction will be held in Dallas with live online bidding available.
