Two big luxury names owned by Richemont will soon have new people in charge.
The current CEO of Van Cleef & Aprels, Stanislas de Quercize, will take the reigns of another legendary luxury name, Cartier, at the end of the year, Richemont announced.
De Quercize will be succeeded as chief executive officer of Van Cleef & Arpels by Nicolas Bos. Bos is currently creative director of Van Cleef & Arpels and CEO of Van Cleef & Arpels North America.
At Cartier, de Quercize succeeds Bernard Fornas, who reached the age of 65 earlier this month. Fornas will remain a member of Richemont’s management committee.
De Quercize’s career includes time at Montblanc, Alfred Dunhill, and Cartier, as head of its U.S. operations.
