Carlyle and Co. plans to lay off 90 people as it closes its Greensboro office, according to a report in the Business Journal.
The company is now consolidating its administrative functions in the New York offices of corporate parent Finlay Enterprises.
In February, Finlay announced it would be closing its leased division, as well as 60 of its stores.
According to the report, some of the employees may be retained as the company goes forward with its strategic plan.
