Calce is Corum’s New General Manager

Antonio Calce has been appointed general manager of the luxury watch brand Corum S.A. Calce had been vice president of operations since September 2005. The announcement was made Feb. 28, by Severin Wunderman, owner of Corum, and Michael Wunderman, president.

Calce has “concentrated on refocusing the brand through vigorous development and a sophisticated upgrading of Corum’s key models,” said the company announcement. “He has also put in place a more effective internal structure at production level with recruitment of four new department heads to provide effective support for high-end watchmaking activity.”

Calce earlier was with the Richemont Group, where he developed Panerai’s product range after its acquisition by Richemont in 1997; was development director of the Panerai and Piaget brands (2000), and set up the Panerai manufacturing facility (2005).
