Chicago jeweler C.D. Peacock has been chosen by the Chicago Cubs as the “Official Jewelry and Watch Partner” of the ball club and its stadium, Wrigley Field.
Under the new multiyear partnership, C.D. Peacock will have naming rights to Wrigley Field’s premier entrance and will design custom jewelry pieces, inspired by the Cubs and Wrigley Field, for fans to purchase later in the season. The brand also will be the official sponsor of a new trophy room inside the ballpark that will house the Cubs’ 2016 World Series trophy. And it will serve as presenting sponsor of a new “Cubs Player of the Month” award that will spotlight one team member a month, selected by the team’s fans on social media.
“Through this partnership and the creation of the new trophy room, fans will be able to view the 2016 World Series championship trophy from inside Wrigley Field for the first time ever,” said Cubs president of business operations Crane Kenney in a statement.
Established in 1837, C.D. Peacock has three stores in Chicago.
