A new Los Angeles Bulgari boutique and a refreshed Miami showroom show how the Roman jewelry powerhouse is expanding into key U.S. cities while staying true to the brand’s overall look in its retail stores.
Bulgari unveiled its new L.A. flagship boutique on Rodeo Drive in November, and the 5,834-square-foot space honors the city’s Hollywood glamour, fashion history, and architectural style, the brand said in a statement.
The same month, the brand also celebrated the grand reopening of its Miami Design District boutique (which had closed temporarily for renovations). The 3,229-square-foot, two-story store has a showroom on the first floor and a salon for entertaining clients on the second floor. It features a palm-tree motif, a wave-inspired chandelier, and classic Bulgari store highlights such as travertine columns.

“The reopening of our boutique in the Design District is an important milestone for Bulgari’s growth in North America. Miami is a global hub for art, design, and culture, making it the perfect setting to showcase Bulgari’s Roman heritage, craftsmanship, and innovation. We invite clients into the world of Bulgari in this uniquely Miami setting,” Bulgari North America president Hervé Perrot said in a statement.
The Miami boutique also stands apart from the rest of the brand’s stores as it carries Bulgari’s exclusive High Jewelry Monete capsule collection, which incorporates genuine Roman coins into its contemporary settings.
In L.A., Bulgari began with an exterior made of handcrafted glass, an ode to Bulgari’s commitment to craftsmanship, the brand said. It reflects the California sunlight, creating a feeling of lightness and sparkle that translates well to the jewelry.

“Los Angeles has long been a source of inspiration for Bulgari, a place where cinematic glamour meets bold creativity. We are thrilled to welcome our clients to experience a renewed expression of our Roman heritage in this extraordinary city,” Perrot said in a statement.
The multilevel boutique features dedicated selling spaces for its High Jewelry on the mezzanine, along with fine jewelry, watches, perfume, and handbags on the main floor. There’s also a salon for entertaining clients, as well as a rooftop terrace.
Inside the boutique, to remind clients of a Roman colonnade, Bulgari installed travertine columns and fluted walls, a nod to classic Roman architecture.

The main floor ceiling features a handmade gypsum Serpenti detail, which Bulgari said represents eternity, rebirth, and wisdom. It also showcases the brand’s eight-pointed star, the Bulgari symbol found in all of its boutiques worldwide.
The 104-year-old Italian glass-making company Venini created a scenographic staircase curtain that draws inspiration from the radiant tones of both Roman and California sunsets. It uses more than 1,400 glass elements crafted by Venini’s master artisans in Murano, Italy.
On the top floor, a Roman-inspired terrace, Bulgari’s first in North America, brings clients into a Mediterranean mood. Both the main floor and the mezzanine display a selection of Bulgari’s High Jewelry and fine jewelry collections, including Serpenti, Divas’ Dream, and Tubogas.
