By the time you’re reading this, you may already be in Las Vegas. You might be seeing the words at 30,000 feet, or maybe you’re finalizing your plans, solidifying your shoe choices, and checking in for your flight.

I, on the other hand, am writing this from the comfort of my couch. I’m wearing clothing that should never be consumed by the public eye, I am arguably unkempt, and—the most important feature of them all—there is a cooing infant at my side. I couldn’t be happier to be where I am right now, but as such, my time at JCK Las Vegas will be of the digital variety this year (until we’ve figured out how to perfect a visit using virtual reality, right?).
Ring in 18k white gold with 2.62 ct. blue zircon and 0.15 ct. t.w. diamonds, $2,225
A must-stop on my virtual visit this year: Parade Design. In the flesh, I’d be enjoying a chat with their wonderful team, surveying the new goods, and piling my fingers high with any assortment of cocktail, stacking, and engagement rings. I would then proceed to snap no less than 50 photos of my hands wearing the rings, because, ironically, although I’m not a bad photographer, the category I’m worst at capturing is jewelry.
Still, I’d end up with a handful of Instagram-worthy shots (due to the fabulousness of the jewels, and not my photographic skills) and happily share with anyone who would look. This photo from last year (above) will serve as my stand-in until 2019, and for now, I’m building myself a digital stack.
Marquise ring in 18k rose gold with 0.45 ct. fancy yellow diamond and 0.05 ct. t.w. diamonds, $2,250
New for 2018, these rings from Parade are only a small sampling of what will be available at LUXURY—I haven’t even touched on the new engagement ring selection. Go get ’em!
