Though I find the artistry behind Thea Izzi‘s aquamarine pendant to be exquisite, I’m more interested in the way the piece itself makes me feel. The tranquility of its star: an oval-shape, rose-cut aquamarine. The silky smoothness of its 18k gold vessel, hugging the rugged curves of the central gemstone, glistening with a single, bezel-set white sapphire. I just saw it and went, aaaah. The design leaves me feeling like I just had a yoga session, and I didn’t even have to leave my desk. This is one of those universal colors that would truly look beautiful on anyone—it brings out the best, in style and in spirit. How could one not be serene, not only looking at this piece but also wearing it? Thank you to Thea Izzi for presenting this moment of Zen.
