Just a little more than a week until JCK Las Vegas kicks off (and exactly a week until LUXURY), and already I’ve been privy to the sight of many new designs waiting to meet us at the show. Of the ones I can’t seem to keep off my mind—and there are quite a few—is this glowing ring from Omi Privé. The upscale brand has long delighted with designs that cause major involuntary jaw drops, but this is the first time the company has added its signature grand touch to an opal. And what a design it is: Pear-shape sapphires complement the center stone’s deep color from the sides, while a mixed pattern of tsavorite and diamond accents encircle it. Oh, and the center stone? Just a 4.5 ct. oval opal with miraculous, glowing color, no big deal. As if! The stunner is rounded out in 18k yellow gold, adding contrasting warmth to the setting of cool, sparkling shades. This is how you do opal. Next step: to get this wrapped around my finger at the show!
