Lately I’ve had eyes for all things ballerina pink. It’s a color that the fashion world has managed to breathe new life into, designing apparel so sophisticated that the baby-girl color somehow seems fresh. Chalk it up to designers like Vera Wang, who unveiled a bridal line done entirely in various shades of pink, and from powdery blush to bright fuchsia. It’s no wonder why this engagement ring from Jack Kelege is reeling me in. Round pink diamonds held in 18k rose gold prongs flank the center stone, adding just enough pink that the piece glows with color, but it’s subtle enough for continuous, forever wear. The pavé diamonds that coat the shank further add to the full-on sparkly look; imagine this beauty under showcase lights—or better, the sun! It’s a showstopper. Perhaps not all brides will be wishing for a pink wedding dress, and that’s just fine. But this ring, with its timeless silhouette and endless shine, is no trend.
