The Circus ring from Italian Design Jewellery is as whimsical as it is luxurious, with surprise elements and playful detail. I was grateful to catch a glimpse of the brand’s jewelry at JCK Las Vegas, where inspirations ranging from fairy tales to history, the animal kingdom, and the sea were represented. This ring is particularly intriguing for its big-top style, with a hand-cut center blue topaz made to look like that circus tent we have come to associate with the big show. Colored gemstones glitter below, in a bejeweled design that you would expect to see on the most glamorous performers in their heyday. The creation, enjoyable as is, takes it a step further with a small treasure inside. Flip open the top and find a shield-like pendant, which can be engraved for the individual lucky enough to receive a gift such as this.
