A visit to the brightly colored, whimsical realm of VTse at Luxury and JCK Las Vegas will ensure two things: You’ll have an excellent time hanging out with founder and creative director Victoria Tse and you’ll come away with some epic jewelry selfies. At least, that’s always been the case for me.
Retailers, I hope, will come away with orders for their stores, comprising pieces from the always-excellent assortment offered by VTse. There’s always a ton of color, usually in the form of big, bold jewels. Past favorites of mine include hot-air-balloon-like earrings composed of cabochon colored gemstones, a pair of remarkable Ethiopian opal earrings, and snake earrings dangling moonstone drops the size of gumballs—a pair I still dream about. Some of the most memorable finds of my time at JCK Las Vegas have been here, and I know this time will be no different.
I know that because of this bracelet. Featuring a combination of smaller gemstones aligned to form the image of budding flowers, it’s far from the massive gemstone-anchored styles I’ve come to recognize from VTse. But its one-of-a-kind make and shimmering, silvery presence has me nuts for it all the same.
Made in titanium, it’s like gilded armor for the wrist, sweetened with its pattern of blue sapphires that resembles something I’d find on a treasured quilt. It’s instantly familiar and beloved, the color of its stones reminding me of my favorite denim jacket—something I rely on and consistently return to.
So I hope to get the chance to try this one on during my visit to VTse this year (even if, unlike my jean jacket, I won’t be able to don this wherever I go). If past experience is any indication, this won’t be the only favorite find that comes out of my Vegas visit—anticipation builds.
You can visit VTse at Luxury by invitation only on May 29–30. Luxury is open to all badge holders of JCK Las Vegas May 31–June 3, booth LUX529. For more, visit vtsejewelry.com.
