Recently making its introduction to the U.S. market, Coronet Solitaire specializes in budget-conscious diamond jewelry, with each signature piece featuring an elevated center diamond surrounded by six other, giving the illusion of a larger center stone. The company offers quite a range, from engagement rings and bands to earrings and pendants. But it was this statement piece that really caught my eye: A 14k white gold shield ring, dotted with sparkling diamonds and featuring that signature seven-stone setting at its center, decorated with a pattern of geometric shapes and milgrain detailing. Overall the ring comprises 1.40 cts. t.w. diamonds, and its grand shape and design give off the impression that it holds more than that. I can see this as a best-seller, particularly where the female self-purchaser is concerned. Who wouldn’t want to gift themselves something so spectacular?
