British Manpower: Robinson Pelham Jewellers Makes Kate’s Wedding Earrings

Those dangling diamond earrings on Kate Middleton’s earlobes were a gift from her parents, Michael and Carole Middleton, who
commissioned London-based Robinson Pelham Jewellers to make them.

The handmade earrings, a wedding gift, featured
“diamond-set stylized oak leaves with a pear-shaped, diamond-set drop and a pavé-set diamond acorn suspended in the
center,” according to a press release from the jeweler.

Inspiration for the design is from the family’s new coat of
arms, which includes acorns and oak leaves; the pair were made by British
craftsmen.
