This brings the e-tailer’s total number of bricks-and-clicks showrooms to seven
E-tailer Brilliant Earth is opening two more bricks-and-clicks showrooms—this time in Washington, D.C., and Denver.
The company announced plans for a showroom in San Diego, Calif., two weeks ago. When these new showrooms open, they will bring Brilliant Earth’s total retail spaces to seven. It already has locations in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Boston, and Chicago.
The move means the e-tailer will have to collect sales tax from residents of Washington, D.C., and Colorado. Brilliant Earth already collects sales tax from California residents, as it’s headquartered there.
The San Diego showroom will open in March and will occupy almost 2,000 square feet of retail space on the third floor of the La Plaza La Jolla shopping center.
The Washington, D.C., showroom is set for an April opening and will occupy 2,500 square feet in Georgetown.
The 2,000-square-foot Denver showroom will open this summer in a second-floor space near shopping destination Cherry Creek.
