Origami Owl, the direct-sale jewelry company that was founded in 2010 by 14-year-old Chrissy Weems, has appointed Brett Blake as its CEO.
The Chandler, Ariz.–based company sells customizable jewelry through 60,000 independent sales consultants. It recently became an official member of the Direct Selling Association and expanded into Canada.
Blake was most recently the CEO of Jewel Kade, another direct-selling jewelry company. He has previously held positions with PepsiCo, USANA Health Services, Harvest Global Management, and Acceptx Financial Solutions.
“As the next step in our journey, we are happy to introduce Brett Blake as our new CEO,” said Weems. “Blake brings a wealth of knowledge and is a highly accomplished executive with more than 20 years of experience in diverse industries including jewelry and fashion.”
