A Pitso (a Botswana round table) on diamond beneficiation will take place at the
upcoming Presidents’ Meeting of the International Diamond Manufacturers
Association, April 4–7, at the Grand Palm Casino and Convention Resort in
Gaborone, Botswana.

Participants
will including the acting vice president of the Republic of Botswana, Dr.
P.H.K. Kedikilwe; Diamond Trading Company CEO Varda Shine; and a host of other
Botswana notables and diamond manufacturers.

It
will be moderated by commentator Chaim Even-Zohar and Letsema Mbayi, a researcher and doctoral student who
has worked for the World Bank as a consultant on diamond development policies.
