Borsheim’s Gives Back to Child-Focused Charities

Borsheim’s Fine Jewelry and Gifts of Omaha, Neb., celebrated the holiday season
by giving back to local children’s charities.

The company announced Dec. 16 its fundraising events resulted in thousands of
dollars for several organizations.

Borsheim’s sold a sterling silver and leather heart bracelet to benefit the
Child Saving Institute, an organization focused on ending child abuse and
neglect. The bracelets were designed to benefit CSI and $5 of each $35 bracelet
sold was donated to CSI. In addition, Borsheim’s customers were encouraged to
purchase a Borsheim’s box for $5 with a surprise gift inside. The money raised
in the box fundraiser went to CSI.

Borsheim’s also collaborated with Girls Inc. this season. Former Secretary of
State Madeleine Albright visited Omaha to benefit Girls Inc. and because of her
love of pins, Borsheims is donating $5 of every Jay Strongwater pin sold in
December to Girls Inc.

“Supporting local children in need is essential for our community,” said Susan
Jacques, Borsheim’s president and CEO, in a statement. “We’re thrilled to be
able to do our part to help the children.”
